The Great Salt Lake

A quick entry before we board our plane from Salt Lake City to Paris.

There was a Dale Nichols exhibition as well as many others that we found quite enjoyable at the Utah Museum of Fine Art on the campus of Utah University.

The last time I was here with my buddy, once known as Scrappy Chappy, so there were no museums on that trip. We only pulled over for a minute downtown to take a quick pic of the temple and rub some honey on Bob's tongue to revive him from a diabetic Low which led to him basically becoming a zombi behind the wheel and taking full advantage of the Great Salt Desert as his private roadway. To be fair he has been known as Happy Chappy for about ten years now since he met Maggie (some or all of this is either embellished or just plain not true)

We also spent some time at the LDS visitors center inside Temple Square, downtown Salt Lake city. Such friendly folks.

The driving was slightly less dicy than typing this blog entry on my iphone. My plan is to create a more thorough entry while in the air and post it when we get to Paris tomorrow. Don't hold your breath!

On the plane now, groggy. See ya
